Tracy Joyce
I am retired from the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board where I worked as a teacher and curriculum consultant. I have always had an interest in art and took a watercolour painting course from artist Warren Thurston when I first moved to Deep River years ago. While I continued to be interested in art during my working years, it took a back seat to raising a family and having a busy career. Since retiring I have found time to pursue my love of art and painting once again. During this time I have taken as many online and in person art courses, tutorials and workshops as I can. I also became part of a group of artists who meet weekly to support and encourage each other as well as benefit from some amazing art instructors. My artistic interests seem to gravitate towards landscapes, outdoor scenes and capturing as much natural beauty as I can.
In the Gallery
I have participated in art shows at the Deep River Library and an Ottawa Valley Community Arts Pop Up Exhibition.
I have enjoyed reproducing some of my art onto cards which I have gifted to many family and friends and some can be found for sale at Simple Things in Beachburg, Ontario.
